it is good to see brian racing still, if i was that good i would be too! what's so good about the dex? could you give me a run downKonich wrote:My Dex410 is my favorite car ever. I can say I will keep it for a long time for sure. I hope he has some input on the 2wd and hopefully lands over with Team Durango soon. To win with very little time on the car is impressive.
Glad to see Brian is doing well and hope to see him continuing to do well with that RANGO!

here's x-factory's official position :Lonestar wrote:I think it's other way around... I am guessing that Brian is driving a Durango until such times as X-Factory fully develop their own 4wd. I am hoping that Durango's 2wd when released will encourage him to come over to Durango fully!!

Either way - its great to have him driving the Rango. Whatever way it turns out (note that Durango say "new team Durango signing - Brian Kinwald") It is going to be good for both brands and for spectators especially.
I have never driven a better 4wd buggy. The DEX is simply awesome.
Cheers

Re: kinwald durango
Everyone raves about the Durango. It must be a great car. I've never seen one, much less driven one, but I just cannot get over their weird looking waistline. They look like they should be rocket propelled! I'd have to get a wide undertray and different body.

I don't particularly care for the name. They couldn't have come up with anything better than Durango? Does it have any other significance to it besides being a Dodge SUV or a Mexican state?

Re: kinwald durango
The car is tough, drives like an 8th scale, and the gear diffs work great. I hate working on my cars, I actually enjoy working on this one. 4 screws and the diff slides out, take the hole slipper out with just one clip. Really in design it is a 1/10th scale F1 car in fit/finish/design. Easy to work on, easy to switch parts fast, fast to drive on the track, whats not to like?
I don't car for the stock body, but the Azarshri body tops mine off nice. I gained 2 laps with this car vs by b44 I had before

it sounds like a mission impossible to me unless you change the battery and motor when you switched your car.Konich wrote:I gained 2 laps with this car vs by b44 I had before

We turn 13-14 second laps at our track. So picking up a 1/2 - 1 second a lap will add up. Here is our track, smooth and fast.
