9481Y with JConcepts Barcodes?

Post by sneako43 »

Will JConcepts Barcodes fit (width wise) on original 9481Y B3 wheels? Most posts mention Proline Wide front wheels...I'm not sure if the 9481Y are considered wide and will allow modern tires to fit properly. I have been using TT Phoenix wheels on my B3 and holding onto these NIP wheels until I knew for sure.

I looked all over but couldn't find a post specific to this question.

They should-the OE B2 and some B3 wheels were quite narrow by today's standards- and may change the carcass profile of the tire though-

Yes, they will "fit", but the profile will be different, and honestly not perform as you would expect. -Jeff
