Body for the Optima?
I have an optima clone coming to me (let's just call it an optima for this discussion).
I don't want to use the original body, so I need to pick up a runner body. I remember I had a buggy body on my optima way back when, but I don't remember which kind.
Will most bodies for an RC10 / JRX2 etc work on the optima, or should I just invest in a repo? I can get a Viper for the RC10 for around $12.

Re: Body for the Optima?
The RC10 period shells are PERFECT.
In fact, alot of racers back in the day used to use the RC10 shells instead of Optima originals because of the cost.
The Viper looks great on an optima.
Cheers

Re: Body for the Optima?
Back in the day, I used a jrx pro body on my optima (orange body below). It fit really well, and the wider pro body provided plenty of room for the battery pack.
Which optima clone do you have?
Regards,
Roger

The Great Vigor Beagle. There's another post here in the Kyosho section. http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=20922
The buggy is supposed to arrive today and I'm going to do a tear down and rebuild thread on it.
It needed 2 dogbones and a chain, which I'm getting courtesy of Marc.
