Some questions about the xx/xx cr and the xx4.
I have some questions about these cars.
-The xx4, first appeared as a prototype right? With a fibre front shock tower? That shock became in production, or it was never sold?
- Also the xx4 appeared with fibre battery press bars?
-How many bodies for the xx or xx cr were available? The thing is I have the xcellerator, there is another one on ebay/lapartshouse but in the 95` Yatabe Arena WC all the cars had another body, which one was that?
Thanks!

Re: Some questions about the xx/xx cr and the xx4.
Not sure about the XX4, but as for the XX/CR cars, there were 3 that came in the kits.
The original body that came with first XX (still available to buy new):
Then a revised one (without the step on the side pods) for the CR (not that popular and havent seen one for a very long time),
And then the xcellerator one that came with the Kinwald edition (bearrickster recently got hold of some, but they are all taken now).
There was also the Jammin body, but this was not a true losi item.
Hope this helps!

afraid not, although I managed to pick one up (the one pictured) recently. I found it by pure chance, someone was selling a XX and it came with that shell, luckily he parted it out for memamadoesn`tletme wrote:thanks a lot! do you know where to get that jammin body?

Re: Some questions about the xx/xx cr and the xx4.
The XX4 appeared in 1996 as a prototype car, with a machined magnesium chassis and a ton of other special developpement features.
The special front tower of this pre production car was never produced !
About the XX shell, Losi made the original from 1993, the XX CR, the Xcellerator and the XXL .

that is very cool, but I think IMOP Losi over engineered this car. just like the xxx-s and 4. they are so hard to work on. if they would have stayed with the shaft like everyone else in the time. these cars would have lasted longer.
