Samurai Runner Finished. At Last!!!!
Well it's only taken 2 months but it's all finished.
I had problems in getting the bearing dimensions but once i did it was all go. A Big Thank you to Marc ( Colecanth) for helping with some very hard to get parts.
This is a runner so it's not box art red but my race color black. Has new alloy wheels with custom made tires with liners . This was a real pain but after destroying a set of tires i got the next set right. Very hard to get right as the rears are 1.9" & fronts are 2.1". Than to get the correct tire profile to match them both up like factory specs . The front are rather wide for cars back than too. So after going through my tire box a came across these which i think are off a cheap RTR but they matched in width front & rear. I than cut & Shunt the wheels to get the right profile taking in account of the different wheel size's. I than fitted them with Losi foam liners.
The rear shocks are the originals while the front mono damper is a Kyosho Gold shock. The Front body post mount is missing so i grafted one from a Top Force. Servo was installed totally wrong and the servo saver was broken. A Tamiya servo saver set was grafted on with no problems, The Driver is also Tamiya as it didn't have one. The Torsion spring clips were missing so a used a Zip Tie to hold them inside the chassis. A made a under guard out of lexan to protect the chassis and the diff a little too.
All i have to do is install Rx and ESC.
Can't wait to track test this warrior now.

You'll have a ball with this car Mark. Both Darryn and I have driven ours at vintage meetings and they sure know how to pull a crowd.
With a Tamiya Sports Tuned bolted in they actualy move along pretty quick!
