The red Sanyo SCR's were 1400 mah back then, not 1700.

There were also some red 1700 but this was a different cell. I think everybody knows the black Sanyo N-SCRC 1700 from the past with actually 2 versions. One of this version (the cheaper one) also was offered in red heatshrink. But both this 1700 and the older 1400 cells did look different to the one above. The heatshrink was not just plain red but things like type of cell, capacity and others were printed in black colour to the heatshrink.

So this red 1700 can´t be the same old cell.

I have a pack of SCRs still in its original bag, there are some green stuff on some of the cells. That was about 6mos ago, not sure what it has now nor where it is exactly. :P

I still use my batteries (1400scr & 1700sce)from 20 years ago...and they still have pretty much the same capacity. I have a victor IQ2 and I take really good care of them.

I also have some new cells...but I sold most of them when I first joined the board. I didn't realize there was such a high demand for them.

Any of these help?

P170s, Sanyo 1700s in a couple different types, Cadnica 1200SC and KR1700SCE....
P1030940a.JPG
I found a couple of stick packs too, red 1400SCR and Sanyo Trinity EX-SPEC as well, but no photo... not sure what size the Trinity pack is, as it lists on the cell as EX-9000S 1.2V.....

Just taking up space here..... some would need more cleaning than others, I guess...
