Mmm i know what you mean , but compared to other cars at the time (xx4,cat,pred) i remember them being rather chunky. I certainly don't miss that struggle to get your car to last a 5min race on a pack of 1700s... which is why I stuck to 2wd buggies. Of course now we have no problems at all with the efficient brushless motors & high capacity LiPo Batteries. Its kind of sad because I'm starting to forget about that whole motor/battery management side of this hobby which is now gone
as for the batt / motor management , sticky brushess , skimming motors , the pack of batterys you would save all week for the sunday final as it had a tiny bit more punch ...... i dont miss it
