Ok First off Hello to you all. I am new here this is my first post. I used to race at a track called USA raceways in Bridgeport, MI. My Dad used to drive me and my friends to the track all the time. It was a blast. This was 1989 I think I maybe wrong. My friend an I raced in the 1989 MI state Championship. Very exciting stuff. Is anyone else on here that raced at this track? I am looking for photos of any kind of this track. I am building a track at my shop and would like to make it near as possible just for nostalgia's sake. I know all the new tracks look to be of clay and whatnot but the stuff we raced in seemed like dirt. Plain Dirt! Does anyone have any thoughts or photos? Thanks very much and nice to meet you all, Gary
I am looking forward to posting pics of my own cars and trucks when I dig out the old gold pan and start the rebuild.
RC10 Gold pan (beat the crap out of this when I was a kid I think the pan is warped)
RC10 B2 (Bone Stock purchased when I got a real job and built when new ran a hand full of times)
RC10T4 (new ebay purchase after reading this site just arrived 2 days ago)
ClodBuster (mostly stock looking for a sassy chassis)
This weekend the 25th and 26th Alpha rc raceway will be hosting the UF1 midwest series on two different points races held on each day. This should be a good time if you are in the area and just want to see what RC F1 is all about. The F1 racing will...

Thanks for posting the F1 race.
I've heard rumors that F1 is going to start up in CT as Tony Phalen has moved here from CA. I've got my fingers crossed that this will happen.
Hi RC people. Got back into RC this past year after about 40 years as my kids are about the age I was when I convinced my parents to buy me a used Hornet, which was my pride and joy.
This past year I got Grasshopper->Hornet->Frog->TT02-BR->XV-01....

The outdrive bearing mod is actually adding bearings in a location that the 6 gear doesn't normally have bearings.
Do you have pictures of this?
Instead of an outer support bearing, each 6 gear outdrive has interal bearings and an outer felt...
Got this turd in a crap ebay deal. I cleaned her up a bit. It needs new ball cup ends and its ready for electrics . Anyone know what a good pair of brushed motors and reverseable ESC would be ? I think it'd be a nice little truck to cruise around...

Nice find! For an ESC get a EVX-2. It will run two motors nicely and has reverse and LVC if you are planning on running Lipos.
I was just wasting a Saturday night surfing the internet and bumped into this. Am I behind the times?

Nitro and electric available. Those dual engine nitro monsters were gorgeous I hope they come back as well.

Yeah, I got a taste of Tamiya's apparent misrepresentation of scale just a couple days ago.
Yea, awhile ago I bought a Clod shell thinking I could just shorten the bed and stick it on a touring chassis and have a nice lowered C10. I can't remember...
So I bought a nice MX-4 and I'm trying to find parts on but thier site sucks. Whats the easiest way to find parts for this car? Part #'s even though I don't have them? I hate Yoke's already!
Last post
Well if your looking for MX-4 parts don't bother with Yoke USA! Out of all the parts I ordered I ended up with wheel screws, rear belt, and spur gear.....about 1/6 of the parts I ordered.........
I recently bought a Schumacher fireblade USA from a popular internet auction site, I wasn't looking for a fireblade, but I saw it and wanted it so I bought it! And this is what it looks like:
I bought the year appropriate magazine article, and...

Not overly exciting but I rebuilt the viscus drive and fitted it,
It seems to go ok, so I should be ok to take it to the track again,
hello everyone, got to source tires for a USA1.. other than the original $150 tires do clod buster ones fit or are there other options.. definately want to drive this beast...

Clod Buster tires will fit. There are obvious differences in the tread patterns and sidewall markings, but they are a great option if want to save quite a bit of money and don't care about keeping your USA-1 100% original.
