My new Gallop

Due to the generosity of Roger (highwayracer) I am the proud new owner of this great piece of Kyosho history. This car is almost complete and in really great shape! I had these rims laying around and found they were the same mounting system as the stock rims so I had them on the car within 10 minutes of pulling it out of the box. I also have a near perfect set of rears to fit the stock rims so I may go back to those when I get new front tires. For now I'll be tearing the car down for inspection - it doesn't need much cleaning which is a first for me. Thanks Roger! I have a correct style repop wing on the way and I plan to fab the missing bars from aluminum tubing. I'll have new pictures when I'm done.

Yes, I too have read that they're a bit heavy and the 4ws tends to make them hard to maneuver around wider turns. That being said, I think they're way cool to look at and have so many unique features I had to have one in my collection.

At least something good came out of buying it!
I think the only way I could complete that car, would be to buy one that is in as good a shape as yours, and call mine a 'parts' car.
