Sweet collection there! I always thought the LeMans 480S & 480T were some of the nicest-looking motors made. Most of the LeMans motors from that era looked classy, clean, and fast. They weren't printed with garish, overly-colorful labels and such, they just looked crisp & clean.
I have a serious line on about 55-60 new and lightly used vintage race motors from the mid 80s to early 90s, from various manufacturers. Would anyone be interested in any of them if I buy the lot?

Checkpoint came out with a fast motor in the mid 80'. This is the Checkpoint Gold. Do you know of anyone who has one or maybe an old TRINITY motor with the tiny slotcar brushes?
I have been collecting old Checkpoints for a while now, and yes,...
We all know about the Silver/Blue stock motors that came with RC10's, but I also have these other two motors and was wondering if anyone knew anything about these?
The Silver/Green one has written on it Associated Competition Off-Road Stock Motor...

Reviving an old thread here...
I picked up a version of a Team Associated '05' motor with an Edinger sticker that I've never seen before. Doing some research it looks to be an 'Igarashi' version of the standard stock motor but I am just curious...
I still have a few brushed motors from my racing days just before brushless came on the scene.
I did love Trinity Motors. The P series i thought were awesome and have 2 limited edition Mat Francis 11DBL ( Red Can). One is new still. Others are 19t...
Any guidance on how to ID vintage motors that you have in hand? Like, I have a Revenge of the Monster motor that according to the excellent Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide in this subforum is a Trinity motor, but nowhere on the motor...

Not always, but I had several with it written on the armature with a marker.
On many of the stock motors, look for visual clues. Different cans and endbell designs were often used on different iterations.
Anyone have a complete listing of the motors and their turns & winds? Can't seem to find a complete catalog of all the Losi Revolution motors.
One motor I have has a I inscribed into the endbell and the other has a K . Any ideas what...

Thanks I'll take a look at it and see what the inside looks like. How do u count the windings? I've never had to do this as all the motors I've had had the paperwork or were new in package.
