My bank of Tekin charges

Post by wmcwings »

Back when I was really into racing I built this bank of chargers. It is constructed of 1/4" aircraft plywood with a G10 fiberglass face painted with Wrinkle Finish black paint. On the back are two cooling fans that draw air down through the charger heat sinks and then out the back. There is a MASTER on/off switch and each charger has it's own on/off switch. The chargers have modified Deans 4 pin plugs, which is what I always used for all of my batteries. The entire system is powered by any 12v power supply with the aligator clips and cord coming out of the back.

The chargers are all Tekin; BC100S High Output (left), BC100L (center) and BC200 Pro (right).

I agree! They were the best for the $$$$. Sure beat the clock work wind-up chargers or the antique Associated charge cord. YIKES!
