RC10T coming in mail shortly.
RC10T coming in mail shortly.
Hello, I'm new to the forum, but very familiar with the RC10T.
I have another 10T coming in the mail sometime this week. I'm planning on cleaning it up, going through it completely, and racing it once in a while. I believe its a team model, it has the gold shocks. Its complete from what I've seen in the pictures, including electronics. The only thing I'm going to change is the esc, so it is lipo compatible. And possibly motor, It has a Green Machine motor, I've never had one of those motors. So I'm not sure how many turns it is, I may just replace it anyway. As it's very old, and I have a small collection of vintage motors and electronics.
I was thinking of putting a 12t motor in it. I'm familiar with rebuilding and tuning the differential. As I have a RC10T already, I just wanted to have another one! I like them a lot!
Next purchase after I get this straightened out is an Associated buggy, and sc10!
I am adding a picture of my first 10T, It doesn't have those tires on it anymore, They were some old ones I run on pavement.

welcome jayman. The trucks have always been my first pick also but watch out...this forum is addictive. You'll have a buggy before too long.

I'm already on the prowl for a rc10. And a newer associated buggy so I can race it and not worry about breaking it.
I'm going to race one of my 10t's once in awhile. Just for kicks, I'm in the hobby for fun, not to win. If I do, that's great! But if not I'm not heart broken. I'll post up some pictures when I get a chance. FYI I don't know if i mentioned, but my Tamiya buggies are in various states of repair/resto.

The 10T shipped today, So it should be here in NY by Monday. Its coming from California. I guess Ill have to wait to bring it to the local track and gloat about it.... Dang it! But that's okay. Its coming with its original box, with original manuals and whatnot.

I got bitten by the buggy bug. There a kid at my local track that races a rc10 with a stealth trans, B2 I think. That thing keeps up and beats the newer Losi's and AE's. I'm hooked, Id like to get one with a stealth trans as well. I like the set up on them better than the original rc10. I dont know why. I'm watching a couple on ebay. If I can find something I like, Ill grab one.
Id like to get one from here but I cant access the b/s/t area yet.
I think that if I bought one from one of you guys I'd be happy with it knowing that it's not one from ebay where alot of the listings they "dont know anything about it".
My 10T should be here tuesday, I'm anxiously waiting its arrival! I'd like to go brushless with it, but I'm going to wait, go through the transmission, shocks, etc. Get a solid runner going then go brushless. Besides I bought a new brushed motor that has only one race on it, so I'll at least get my moneys worth out of that first. I'm going to put the esc and motor I took out of my xxx-sct in it. So I can have the runtime of the lipo as its switchable between nimh and lipo batteries. Sorry if I was rambling, I'm exhausted from work.

Sorry man, but I was so stoked to get this truck. And the guy I bought it from on ebay was super cool too!
Re: RC10T coming in mail shortly.
Theres nothing really special under there, but I'll post some up in a little while.
As far as hardware goes:
Losi lipo ready 12T ESC. I used it because it was hanging around, it was taken out of my SCT.
Losi spektrum TX/RX. Also taken out of SCT.
Trinity Green Machine motor. Don't know how many turns or whatever. But this truck MOVES!
Futaba servo I believe.
It also came with the original box and manuals. A futaba am transmitter. And some spare parts.
