Re: Formula Offroad
I'm liking that tire/wheel combo with that Bronco body! I'm going with more of a scale look now too. I almost feel like there should be a small thread for FOFF and one for Scale, but then again this is a vintage site. It's just nice to show off our non-vintage builds to the others on this site.

My wife just got home from shopping with her friends with new shoes...this means she feels guilty and tells me to order those RC4WD wheels that you wanted, which I did right away

Re: Formula Offroad
Just do it like I do ask for forgiveness not premission I just buy what ever I want
how do you guys paint all the details on these on the outside? I want to start painting it. I think its going to be Dark Blue with some FLat black hood trim and interior. it was going to be Orange but I think I have to many Orange cars at the moment. I fell in love with the orange Bronco in the Movie American Anthem in the 80's. I am going to install full Working lights brake lights and all. I am looking for some headlight buckets to work with the Bronco Body any body know of some?

Re: Formula Offroad
With those wheels I would go blue anyway. An orange paint I would go with a black rim. I did a dark green paint on a bronco body I have which looks retro too. It would look better on a Wraith than a Losi Comp Crawler, but still.

Re: Formula Offroad
I like it yours to, its a little high for my taste, but any Bronco looks great to me. I really like your wheels also, they look like the old school wagon wheels. I want to get painting on mine, but I am painting a real car for someone this week that is a week late cuz I was sick all last week. but I may see if I cant get her done next week sometime.
My first crawler had a chassis like yours, then I bought the Dingo.

Can't wait to see her painted. I agree with mine being too high, I only had it on for a couple of days before I took it off

The body has functionable headlights and tail lights but they weren't hooked up, it's just light reflecting off of them
