Re: start em young!
The MB and Blackfoot are both definitive vintage r/c in my book. My daughter is now 6, but she will simply not take an interest in anything r/c. If it's not rainbows and unicorns she wants nothing to do with it. She won't even wear anything brown because it's a "boy's color", no joke!

that's awesome.
I tried to get my boy into R/C too...I even used my original 1987 Monster Beetle. He's autistic, so I figured it would be a good way for him to work on his hand/eye coordination and spatial distances (things he's always had trouble with).
It worked for a while too...but that summer, he also learned how to ride a bike...and that won. Oh well...
Love the Beetle...

Definitely starting young! Just got my 6 year old a B4 and will be taking him down the parking lot to get him some practice - he's really looking forward to it.
I've also seen one painted with a hello Kitty design! Food for thought perhaps!
Someone at our local club has come up with an idea for his daughter and got a local painter to do a pokemon shellTHEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:The MB and Blackfoot are both definitive vintage r/c in my book. Re: start em young!
My daughter would love that Pokemon theme.... to show her or not? I probably could not replicate that....and I know that would be the request.
