Some stuff i painted
well guys i showed you a bronco body a few weeks ago
well i found some pics of some other stuff that i painted
the green chevy truck was painted in green pearl
with a white pearl fade the inside of the green was painted in a chamilian (<--sp?)
that would change colors as you turned it (sold)
the toyota was painted in a mix off copper and HOK pearl added
with a painting of ice meeting flames on top
with ghost flames through out,the pics dont do it any justice (stepdad still has it on display)
quad body was painted, tangled pipes style
carbon fiber ,ghost flames once again pics suck (sold)
stadium trk white/silver/pearl mix (sold)
foam plane i also fly 3d planes this is one scratch built, and now i was never known to do graffiti (still have)
last is some panels i did for a sand rail self tought on doing real flames (i have a pic of the sand rail some where)'
all HOK paints candy tangerine /candy yellow with base white added (sold)
hope you like

Re: Some stuff i painted
looks great !!!!! i wish i knew someone that painted. id just give them bodys and paint then they could go to town.. my dad was a great painter but he passed away a few years ago . i try to paint but i only like 1 color paint jobs(they always look good to me). to buy a painted body like that cost way too much.

Re: Some stuff i painted
hey thx guys for your replys
ive always been one to think past a normal paint scheme
when i do custom work ,its more of i ask them the colors they want and than its a open book on the paint job!
i use to try and do a exact job of what they have in mind, but i have found to be in most cases is what they picture and what i picture there picture as beeing is two different things
so now when i do jobs i tell them up front if you want it painted prepare for something outside the norm
depending also if its ganna race are run the shelf
in about 2 months i will have my shop finished with a paint area
i use to paint in my garage but this baby takes the space now
thx farmer
