If you'd used Trinity servo tape she'd have no worries. Re: Ok Who still has their first Trophy ???
The first trophy I won was for 2nd place in the 2wd A final, it was only a club meeting but it was my first ever venture out onto a proper outdoors off road track, i'm not sure if I've still got the trophy - it may have been thrown out recently as my dad has been sorting out the loft But there's definately a photo of me somewhere with the trophy & my Schumacher Cougar taken just after the meeting when we got home.... I can distinctly remember how excited I was & how proud my dad was of me
We seemed to get trophys for almost every meeting we went to (apart from midweek club racing) now it seems very rare to recieve one.... in fact I was supposed to have collected three trophies for various series wins over the last few years but I missed out on the presentation meeting for one & the other two the club just couldn't be bothered to buy any (despite their fairly high entry fee)
I still have on display the more 'important' trophys (or the ones that mean the most) at home on & in my cabinet in the living room

I'm sure I saved that trophy, but can't seem to find it anywhere
P.S; what a spotty looking 'oik' I was lol!

I could care less for 'the win' or trophys now day but it is nice to receive something in return for a great day out at the track.
Here's my first trophy back in 1988 when my Optima placed in the 540 class at BORMAC back then.

Yay, I got my first trophy last week at the 2012 vintage festival
Third place in pipe frame driving a Mugen Bulldog
(Cant decide if the trophy was worth the busted rollcage though lol)
