I feel so young lol... Thanks guys haha kinda makes me wish I grew up with an rc10 vs inheriting one... But i'm keeping the legend going that counts right ? And my build is almost complete minus electronics. Which will be ordered next week.

I'm gonna dig through storage today; I know there are some pics of the LXT and XXT on track (The Ranch) and I remember taking a pic of a TA-02 I got myself for Christmas around '94 or '95. This ought to be fun.

Re: Post your vintage PRINTS here in the vintage RC Photo Al
I have a few pics that I've run across. I'll dig out more very soon.
In 2001, the RC Club I was with did alot of exhibitions for Monster Truck events in the Southern Region, including Monster Jam in St. Louis.
We were contacted by Camp Jeep, and asked to help with a demo. Tomb Raider had just been released in theaters and the EMaxx was released, or fairly new.
I'm the guy on the left I won the exhibition race and received a plaque and a brand new JR XR3i (I think). Camp Jeep officials set up a tent with obstacle course for folks to drive on and get hands on with. VERY VERY COOL!!
My winning pose, and yes, we got to keep the truck!! i have that statue too, along with numerous other Camp Jeep items, including a demo Jeep mountain bike we were able to buy for cheap.
Not a great pic, but my irst race buggy, a Mugen MBX4 XR Works. I had a CMB Raptor pushing it, talk about TORQUE!!! That was my favorite engine ever. Notice the gray Prolines. Those are not dyed, they were prototypes that never went into production. I got them from a Team Driver who was visiting his in-laws, and happened across our track on a race night. He had his gear, but no car, so I let him run mine and pitted for him, in return for sme schooling and a badass set-up. He had these and let me keep them.
My daughters first race with a MT. This was pre-truggy. Thats a T-Maxx with a .21 and extended chassis with shaved proline wheels and custom glued "split" tires. She's in the yellow truc, the guy behind her was in his 40's, she was 7!!
Both daughters, ages 6&7, in a heated battle Not a great pic.
My TC3 Modified with basher body. Cant find the good body.
The Factory TC3
Pull truck
This wedge is powered by what was ganked from the girls Powerwheels Barbie Jeep. It wheel pull anything!!

I do not remember having a Hot Trick front end, but I do remember the ugly blue/silver body.

Found a few pics of my old cars. I have a few pics of different setups of my RC10. I know I had two during that time frame but I think these pics are of the same car. Also pictured are my McAllister outlaw and my RC10L. I really liked Davey Allison before he passed on, I thought I had done a few different bodies but that may be the same one on both cars. All of these pics were taken in our old neighbor hood which we moved out of in late '90. IIRC the vintage on these photos is '87-89

Re: Post your vintage PRINTS here in the vintage RC Photo Al
Whilst looking through some photos around at my parents of my with my Schumacher Cougar for the '1st trophy' thread I found a few more that I'd like to share;
This is me with my Cougar1 - this car had been converted from a TopCat - but was converted at about the time the Cougar2 was released, so in its Cougar guise always had C2 bodies & the aerodish 2.2 wheels - this Silver Blue & red shell was the last one it wore in my ownership. P.S; can't believe I was still running Tamiya connectors - that motor was a relatively hot 14x2 IRRC!
The Cougar with its replacement, a Mardave Cobra
My Hornet (1st ever R/C car) sporting a Parma Baja Beetle shell & Wild One front wheels
I also flew planes & this 'Super cub' was one I built up from a 'Flair' kit, powered by an O.S 40 4 stroke motor.

I only raced up there once 'cause Gardena was quite a haul for my dad to drive me from way down south. Don't remember anything about pit bucks, but then again all I remember is getting my doors blown off by all these guys with local knowledge of the track. Didn't do very hotfarmer wrote:i remember that track set up
