Starting a losi Jrx2 build. Hoping to build a shelfer and a runner with leftover parts.
I purchased a losi off a forum member for parts and some nip parts that should be here soon.
I'll update this with pics as I go along.
This is what I'm starting with (wish me luck). Going to apply automotive matt black vinyl to get the chassis looking new.
Some more progress on this, I decided not to use any of the new parts and save them for another build down the track when and if I get my hands on a mint chassis. Rear end is done, swapped a set of logo rims on my jrx pro and used the trinity wheels on this.
I have to say that the vinyl You used looks really close to original graphite surface of the chassis, at least in the pictures. Also almost all other parts also looks like new/mint rather than used. Good work!

Thanks, I took a punt with the vinyl and I must say it's a real good match.

Do you know where I can get those collars? one of them has a crack already.
Here goes. This will be a mostly stock build of a JRX2 Proformance buggy. However, I couldn't help but finally open up my Uber rare gold Losi shock bodies.
I removed the mount on top of the transmission case. I feel it's a much cleaner look...

Did you use a different screw for the steering brace? Mine seemed to make the steering bind but it could have been operator error. And do those shock cartridges work a lot better than stock?
This is my Jrx2 I just finished building. Its all Jrx2 Losi parts. This one took a wile to finish it. It's my tribute to the Jrx2 it''s most definitely a Shelfer. I plained to put a new clear wing & body on it before I built it an put it with all my...
After restoring a losi xxcr kinwald and buying a new unbuilt xxxcr2 i wanted to complete the line up with a jrx of some sort. Originaly i bought a JRX2 off ebay, but it turned out to be a bit of a bitsa, and possibly the leftovers of someone elses...

Yesterday after a week of looking at my plans of where to cut it, i started cutting. And low and behold, it worked.
Its not as good a fit as my losi xxx but its a more awkward shape. there is a bit of a gap part of the way around the gear...
