had one and the dog bones were forever falling out of it. Have to add that this was prob my best RC car from my childhood. I think the kits were around $119 back in the day.

I remember that the dog bones were the weak part of the striker and falcon. I also have a striker that I'm working on and I used the universal sliders from traxxas on mine. It was actually a very easy conversion that used some hornet gears, axles and the traxxas parts.

Cool! The Striker was also my first RC car; I drove the heck out of that thing. I still have it, I will try to post some pictures. I'm thinking of cleaning it up so that my kids can drive it.
What I remember most about that car was taking it to a bumpy track and not being able to turn! The front end of the car was off the ground most of the time since the front suspension didn't have any damping.
