i was going through some stuff at my lhs, and found a set of the proline chrome plated 1.5 wheel covers. the owner gave them to me for half price, so i got em' for $4.00. now i just got to build hornet, or a grasshopper, maybe the frog, to put them on.

I found this beauty a few months ago at a local hobby shop. It had TRC foams on it when I found it. Not a scratch on it! Looks like it was just ran on carpet and not much. It came with the box (team car #6036), instructions, Ko Propo EX-1, Tekin...

i ran to my lhs to get some ball studs, and the manager says, jay, i found something for ya . so i say what'd ya find ? he procedes to pull 3 nip black stealth motor plates out from under the counter. needless to say, my jaw dropped. so then i...

Well, not exactly local hobby shop. I drove about 40 minutes to get there, but it was worth it. I saw a shop with old stuff up on ebay, and found out it wasn't far away. So, I drove up and came back with this. Not the greatest score in history, but...

Here's a little story I would like to share about the demise of the LHS.

Whenever possible I try to buy form my LHS (we have a number in the area), as you can appreciate this is difficult for vintage stuff but with radios, esc, batteries, aircraft...

I went to my local hobby shop today to pick up some paint for my crawler body and to see if they might have any old AE parts. After looking around, I see a big cardboard box filled with bodies and marked 20% off. To my surprise, sitting right on top...

This is a really shitty thing that happened in my home town the other day. Someone drove into the LHS (literally) and stole thousands of dollars of stuff. It's the only hobby shop in the province, besides another small one focused on primarily...

I just got back my local hobby shop and saw two NIP Kyosho bodies in the 20% off bin. One was I think UM-34(Turbo Ultima) for $29.99 before the discount and the other was I think UM-60(Sideways) for $18.99 or $19.99 before the discount...I don't...
