I don't think it will be built on X Mass day as I just bought the kids 2 Street Rover kits with all the option parts we use at Boondal ( Oil shocks, Ez Run 13t combo's, Bearing kits & etc with 2 new Fly Sky GT3C radio's)
Even though there is not much to these DT02 chassis the mods take just as long to build.
I guess that it will get built some time over my 5 weeks off that I have to take ( Have too much holiday pay up)

Re: To Build or not to build????
I'd say build it too.
I nearly bought a NIB Ultima Pro on eBay a while ago and had I won the auction I would have eventually built it

Re: To Build or not to build????
next question ; should you run it ? Well ofcourse; what's the point in building otherwise, and what would you do with all the remaining free time?

Re: To Build or not to build????
I can admire a built car so much more then in the box.
As for running it no i highly doubt it. If I can get a under tray I might but don't think there is one for this.
Just loose too much money if iI ever decide to sell it. There is around 20 shelfers in my collection now & they are all my wifes I say too sell when we go for our around world holiday in yrs to come. I try not to aquire NIB or NB so I can run them.
Some times I think a very or close to NB is better way to go for a runner as they don't reqire a heap spent on it to run . More so if it's expensive on parts.
Free time will go really quickly . I have lots of runners that always need TLC & project cars to do as well.. That's why I love this Hobby.

Re: To Build or not to build????
Hah! I've got a Triumph N.I.B for thirteen months now without touching it. Maybe it will be THE project for 2013 and maybe in two different versions, I'm thinking of making a carbon conversion as the chassis do not have a kick-up (the main reason I love chassis without a kick-up). Now and then I look through the bags and get excited about the long/medium Gold shocks
Cheers

Re: To Build or not to build????
I'm in a similar situation with my NIB Turbo Optima, payed $650 for it and I see them listed for over twice that much on ebay. I wouldn't mind building it but then it's not NIB anymore Plus I've got other projects to sort out.
