i really like nascar, i got speed ch back so im watching more.. im not a nascar expert but thats just because the world loves to watch guys in tight pants play games with balls not motor sports.(wish for more motorsports less ball sports).i didnt watch the whole race(wish i did) but the word was jeff was getting messed with so he took him out when he had the chance. in my mind this makes me like jeff gordon more. i felt like it was me on the track. thats what i loved about racing rcs, someone messes with you just take them out. heck its an rc car just take them out cause its fun!slotcarrod wrote:Jeff Gordon is a total ----!And he is a coward to boot!
I used to think highly of #24 but after watching the race yesterday he is trash in my mind! The thing is, Bowyer was never at fault, it was Jeff that slid up on Bowyer!
Now any chance of a title is out the window!

I bet that 100k to Jeff Gordon is like 100 dollars to an average person such as myself. Considering Jeff is worth close to 100 million dollars, im sure the fine will not hurt him to much.

I don't follow NASCAR at all, but are you guys serious about the texting and banning of cell phones? WTF has this world come to that we need to make such stupid rules?
That's like Michael Jordan posting on facebook with an iPad while dunking...if he wasn't in Hanes commercials, but you get the point.
I think that sport, and I use that term very loosely, has become a male soap opera like WWE or whatever acronym they use for wrestling these days. These idiots make millions to drive in a circle and fight like girls while still wearing helmets.

I haven't been able to sit thru a race for years. It used to be fun for me.
I do however get to one of the 4 local dirt tracks every weekend, religiously. My dad is an engine builder so we travel to babysit the engines. I known some dont see racing as a sport, but hop in a car for 40 laps and see how ya feel afterwards. Its a workout

NASCAR said after Daytona that Brad wouldn't be penalized when he tweeted during the red flag, however months later (after Richmond in September) said that smart phones could be used as data recorders or transmitters and would no longer be allowed. This rule/penalty has been in place for two months.LTO_Dave wrote:I don't follow NASCAR at all, but are you guys serious about the texting and banning of cell phones?
