RC10 carbon chasis

Post by joel45acp »

I just purchased a AE carbon chasis from fleabay and I'm wondering it the carbon chasis uses a rear brace which attaches to the motor mount. I see two holes in the rear of the chasis and I'm wondering it thats what its for. thanks.

yep, there is a motor guard that attaches from the motor mount to the chassis. Used to be a ton of them on ebay but are fewer and farther between nowadays...

Thanks Todd. darn, I hope I can find one. do you think cutting the rear section of a gold tub and modding it would work?

Not all the graphite cars came with the guard, which chassis do you have?

its not the "woven" looking one. I'll post a pic tomorrow sometime. I've never had one, but always wanted a carbon chassis RC10. How do the run compared to a gold tub?
