SOOooo..
Here's the resto of my boxart Dogfighter.. man alive I used to lust after this off roader (well out of my price range back in the day) always had the dog & the SWB CAT at the top of my wishlist & atlast I've got a boxart twin centre shock 'b' version in my garage, 2 shocks good, 3 shocks bad!?!?..

Just need to re-solder the electronics now and we're mint..

very nice work! i'm the same with the 834's, ever since the yokomo team came to a local race. they're beast on the track.

You could always convert to mx4 wheels. Theres some on ebay now, but not much for hubs. I think 1 set. they pop up every now and then though. I ran my mr4 bc for a little while, very fast and good handling for a street runner/basher. Sucks up little...

I need to know all the bearing sizes for the yz834b including the flanged ones!

I've just stripped a rig and need to replace all the bushings with ball bearings.

It amounts to the following asked on the manual:

5x10 flanged (6+4+2+2)
3x10 flanged ( 2)
4x8 (4)

The original 834B instruction is on a very large page and is too large to copy it and reduce on are home copier size. The instructions for the RPS Se is in booklet form and is available on the internet or if you will send me your email address I can...

Well, this is my fully modified runner. well, not 'soooo' modified :D What I did was to retain the original suspension concept with minor modification of the geometry (unlike a conversion of 2 shocks to 3 shocks like the RPS, or 4 shocks, etc..)....

Here is my modified Aussie Yokomo 834B I raced in the 1980's, fresh from its last race 21 years ago, removed electronics...

There were little RPS yokes in Australia as Schumacher C.A.T's, Mugan Bulldogs, Optimas and hotshots were the rage then,...

Hi:

It seems like the out drives of the rear differential was not stock. The original one was a cup for the rear dog bone and this one was a shaft. :roll:

I would love to do the same surgery on my 834B. :)

Which part was it? Also non-yokomo...

Guys:

Anyone has any idea which contemporary CVD would fit the YZ834B rear end? I am tired of losing and looking for the dogbones when they pop loose....

Do you have the zip ties installed between the rear bracket of the car and the rear suspension arms?
If not , to do this will maybe the easiest solution to your problem...
If I remember right , we use in former times the CVD's from a later yokomo...
