Esaresky,
Whats the the part number on that top shaft? I went to go and build up my alum case today and realized I have a 2.65 conversion shaft. Would like to hunt for the stock shaft. Thanks

So a b4 transmission is 2.25:1 ratio? Are you building one of these alloy cases up too? I looked over some old posts but frankly after an hour or two my eyes kinda glazed over. I'll hunt that part # down and get it one any way. That way I'll have it and be able to justify another build Thanks for the info Todd.

Scr8p,
Then I can assume that the top shaft I have is definitely not an AE manufactured shaft. AE varied their ratios using the diff gear and idler? So all I have to do is find an OG top shaft?
esaresky,
Sorry if I've some what hijacked your post. I look forward to seeing it built and what your going to put it into.

Hi I have recently dug out my old B3 with the idea of taking up racing again and I have noticed I am missing the CVD dog bone and the relevant pins and coupling. As I am looking to race the car my intention is to try and replace the parts I need to...

Sorry for the poor quality. You would think for having a 3D printer, I would have a better camera, but no. In that aspect, I'm still stuck in 2004...

My guess is you wouldn't have to change gear ratio much, if at all. The drive cog is much smaller diameter than a normal wheel, so that would essentially gear it down for you.
I have started looking into restoring my old TQ-10 and have found that this is the place to get the information that I need. I originally purchased and built this car when I was 13. Patience and an attention span were in short supply for me at that...
