Budget Build 6 gear
I grew up poor, always got the hand-me downs. I built this buggy out of complete spare parts. What ever rc10 parts i could get went on this. The tub is not my original, the original was a red tub spray painted black. The rims are mix match, the trans was made from left overs.Even the trans case is 2 dif pieces.she is ugly, but I thought it was cool when i was 5 years old. I would like to find the original Sanwa 2 stick radio with servos and manual speed control that i originally had as a kid. For now i got a Xp2 AE radio with a micro receiver, and Novak ESC. Some one told me i should strip it and polish it and dye it all one color. Cant bring myself to do it
It does have Early Edinger shocks on it.

This buggy was built from spares as well a few years ago. It was pretty ugly too, then i tried dying the parts black. The body i got off Ebay cheap, I will repaint it later on. This buggy will get the stock speed control and futaba electronics. I have a futaba attack stick radio that will go in this one.

I love the ones that are built from leftovers and spare parts! My favorite RC10 is a mismatched assortment, and right now there's a Tamiya Frog on my workbench that I built from my RC junk bin. Recycling at its finest!

Good way to put spare parts to use. Do you have pictures of your frog? I never did see a mixmatched Tamiya Frog. Seen a few Hornets in my day.markbt73 wrote:I love the ones that are built from leftovers and spare parts! Nice, i always had a thing for Vintage Hornets & Frogs. Had a shoe box with a frog carcuss and parts ,but traded it for Tmaxx parts. I regret

I would leave the first RC10 just like it is, as you mention. It will always remind you of being a kid again.
