Handled great! The leaders Fastest laps were in the 8s and mine were in the low 9s.

I'll be happy just to make it around the track without hitting the barriers. :mrgreen: I've got lots of practice to do.

Looks good! What gearing (or roll-out) did you go with for a 17.5? Most of the setup info I've found is for Mod or 13.5.

I just purchased 12R5.2 a few day ago, I've been wanting to get back into carpet racing since returning to the hobby a couple years ago, I can’t wait to get this thing built and on the track.

Awesome, I just bought its bigger brother the 10R5 to convert to 235.

Nice kits but I find they lack info for "novices"

For gearing I ran 76 / 53, but the other guys were running 76/52. I would have tried a 52 pinion if they had them in stock.
