MIP set screws

When it's R/C related, but doesn't fit anyplace else.

what size hex are mip set screws? i got a new t4 cvd set for my 10t but i don't think any of my tools fit, sae or metric.

i found it really odd.

Mine have always been .050

they could be crappy set screws, or your allen keys are worn. If you think they are worn, cut the end off cleanly with a dremel cutoff wheel and try them again. I have seen badly formed set screws for sure.

i thought they were .050". mine won't go and it's pretty new.

i'll look around for an unused allen and see how it goes.

if the .050" won't go in, it's possible there is crud in the hex of the set screw. check it out carefully, that's good, it means it's a tight tolerance, and you might just have to force it in there. at least the hex is too small vs. too open and useless.
