New to adding insurance. Promised $1000 on the car I sold and went to the post office today to get an idea on how much shipping is going to cost while I wait for payment. Anyways the girl behind the counter at USPS said I could only ad insurance to $500. I want to add insurance to $2000.
Is she wrong or should I take my business to UPS or Fed Ex. I don't want any problems on a sale this big. I always pagage well and am good on my end but we've all seen videos of delivery guys throwing flat screen tvs over fences.
Any advice is appreciated. I want to continue to be a good seller.

Re: Shipping insurance
Me thinks she is wrong, or at least off by a decimal point.

Re: Shipping insurance
I think you are right about the $5000 in the states. I just got home and looked as well. It says up to $2499 global express international. Ill just go to a different post office when it comes time to ship.
