schumacher spares - confusing?

Post by PerKr »

Looking at the spare parts listing at racing-cars.com I'm a bit confused. There are several items which seem to be compatible with the cougar/cougar2 but which aren't listed for these and I'm sure the situation is similar for other cars. As an example, look at the U2330. looks very much like the C-yokes, steering blocks and control arms on my cougar? U3067 also looks a lot like the C-yokes on the cougar. U3091, U3092 look like they could be used... None of them listed for the cougars.

I know the numbers don't match what's shown in the cougar/cougar2 exploded views but that could be down to various reasons that aren't really important to us or which can be overcome.

Wouldn't happen to have any forum members working at Schumachers R&D department who wouldn't mind putting together a parts cross reference list?

The big 6 steering blocks etc in the first part number should be fine on Cougars, actually quite a lot of the big 6 parts can be used on cougars. As for those Rascal part numbers you posted, i'm not too sure. They do look similar, and may work, but you'd be taking a chance.
