Got me a Tamiya "FOX" (1985)
HI!... I got this Tamiya "FOX" off E-bay a bit ago. The previous owner built it new and never ran it. The body has been cut out but has yet to be painted. I was also given the original decals as well. I plan on painting the body and installing the decals.

Nice Fox. I picked up one also in much the same condition though I think mine was run on carpet.
The body was hacked up so I ordered a TBG one and its painted ready for decals.
Some people cant stand the fox but I reckon those gold wheels and blue paint look great.
Look forward to seeing your finished Fox.

Nice! I would love to do a Fox body. Always liked the lines. You doing box-art or something original?

I'm working on one right now. I decided to take a different route by resurrecting one. I've been looking out for individual parts that I knew would go cheap and have been piecing one back together. I've got everything but the wheels and the body. I am currently cleaning everything up and will assemble it soon. I haven't spent all that much but by the time I get a body and wheels on it, it may or may not come out cheaper than a complete Fox can be had for on ebay but I have the satisfaction of knowing I brought one back from the dead.

HI!... O.k been working on the old FOX a bit while home sick from work (flu). Got the original vintage body painted and decalled up. Also tore the car down and got rid of all the bronze bushings. I installed all sealed ball-bearings in their place. Much smoother now with lots less slop. I never had the electronics compartment off of this car since I bought it. There were no servo's inside but a brand new MSC!!!!! These are really hard to find in new condition. And this one is brand new! So I installed two brand new Futaba servo's, and on/off switch. Still need a old vintage Futaba receiver to finish it off. Here's some new pics of the old girl.
Well I finally got the driver painted up. Here's a few pics :
