I just bought a TCP from that man's collection. It's in bad shape however none of the hard to find plastic is damaged or stripped and the motor mount is practically brand new with the exception of a few scratch. I would like to whiten the parts but I'm not sure how and I'm worried if it will make the parts fragile b/c I plan on actually using this buggy.

From personal experience, the white plastics are probably already very brittle from age. 99% of the vintage stuff I've tried running with original white suspension pieces have shattered from the slightest jolt.

For whitening, the peroxide bath seems to be the best way.

So even the TCP plastic? The yellowing is very slight and there are no stress marks on any of the plastic. Is the white nylon parts from the TCP the same nylon used on the TRX1 or hawk?

That is a nice collection of vintage Traxxas rigs. I especially like your "grill" shelving unit [LOL]. Thanks for the posting... I was working on a collection of vintage cars, but I recently left my Wife and a good chunk of my collection  . Someone will score a collection for dirt cheap.
