going on 2 years for an update on this build. :P

so, what is it that the kids say before doing something friggin dumb.......... YOLO? well, i had my YOLO moment today. bscotti hooked me up with a new rpm battery box for this car. i've had the holes marked on the tub for more than a year now, but out of fear of screwing up the paint, i could never bring myself to set it on the drill press. i was sweatin' through it the whole time, but it's done now, and i didn't F it up. :)

While I had the dye in the pot doing some other stuff, I dropped in the new trans case so everything is dyed now.

Maybe by this time next year I'll get turnbuckles for it. :P

Awesome. I remembered this chassis, but forgot you were building it. Every time I see it I stare at it until my eyeballs become dry and irritated; yearning for the precious moisture that allows them to function properly. At that point I quickly blink replenishing their much needed lubrication so that I can stare once more. I repeat the process 4 to 5 times before I snap out of it...

LOL... I looked at the first post and it said Nov 18 and I was like Damn Scr8p is fired up.... Then I thought that can't be... Then I saw it was November 18, 2009, Hahaha... My Bad... Next update should be around 2015, but I have doubts about finishing by then, 8)

I'm not one to talk though, I may be worse. Wait? maybe not, I finished and raced my last project in just a few weeks or so, LOL

it's really just comes down to needing certain parts (normally those that are expensive and/or tough to find) to build a car the way i want. add that to the fact that i have no less then 10 of those kind of builds going at the same time, and only having so much money to go around to cover all of them, my builds will always take their good old time.

i also like certain builds more than others. those seem to get done a little quicker.

Just giving you grief.... I get to a point on mine and don't know how I want to continue and it gets shelved until an idea comes along. Its easy when you are going to run it, make it stock or box art. :)
