MIP trailing arm kit differences?
Hi all,
I'm a long time Tamiyaclub member and have been finding that my goggle seaches regarding vintage SRB abd RC10 hop ups invariably lead me to this site! I joined a while back but have been inactive. I plan on changing that!
I'm in process of building an old school SRB racer, based on this existing buggy ( btw I know one of the rear tires is on the wrong way around!)
I want to fit some MIP rear trailing arms and am trying to figure out the differences betweek the IRS-10 kit and the IRS-200 kit?
I understand MIP made the IRS-200 kit for both SRB's and RC10's, with slight modifications, but I can't figure out were the IRS-10 comes in to the mix?!?
Cheers
Paul

Re: MIP trailing arm kit differences?
well, here are pics of the SRB version next to the RC10 version. Not sure if this helps you
SRB on the left, RC10 on the right. (The SRB arms pictured have an extra set of holes drilled in them)

and SRB arms, part # I-3

and here RC10 part is on top, SRB on bottom. Central mounting holes are just offset a little.

Great, thanks a lot. Really not much difference.
Still confused whether both are sold as IRS200? if so, what is the IRS -10 kit of trailing arms for RC10

Re: MIP trailing arm kit differences?
Thank you for pointing me in that direction. I've also searched for IRS-200 instructions so I can identiffy the differences between IRS 10 and IRS 200 but cannot locate them anywere?
Would anybody have them please?
Thanks
Paul

Re: MIP trailing arm kit differences?
Resurrecting this question!
Is this an image of IRS200 instructions? Leaves a lot of room for error for a builder like me if so! Anyone know if there is anything more detailed ( idiot proof) out there please?
I'm finally getting around to putting together my MIP 4 x400, IRS200 and T-200 Tranny. I'm used to the Tamiya manual level of detail!
