very cool jirka. interesting that he's using the stack of quarters and receiver pack to balance out the buggy. would be great if he could chime on it's performance for that race.

from the looks of it too, it looks like he has a prototype stealth tranny in there. is it just me, or does it look like he has a prototype rear bulkhead too? very "worlds"-ish looking.

something interesting going on in that car. the belt is running through the center of it, that means some kind of custom rear transmission to me, not a pulley hung off an idler like a 4-10 kit.

If i had to take a guess at this. The tranny case looks wide as the 6 gear so im assuming it started as a 6 gear. The belt has to run between the drive gears so the spline plate has been modified to its only supporting the idler gears. The drive gears use the bearing mod in the 6 gear case to support them and a single shaft going between that mounts a 3rd gear for the belt. The belt looks flat on one side so its not turned by the idlers but maybe slipper discs between it and the drives gears? After that its stock 6 gear but with narrow idler gears to not hit the center.

I really have no clue but that would be my way of achieving that.

It could have also been just a belt driven tranny with a custom belt that ran to the front too.

things im not sure of
the belt looks to be inverted on one side
extra screws in the tranny brace
is that 1.05 in change
are those capacitors opposite of the receiver?
