The best degreaser... Ever

As far as I can tell, the only real salvageable stuff is nuts and bolts. It is not even a complete car, it is missing parts.

To be fair, even if the plastic is heat damaged (how else could the chassis get smoke damage?), I would still expect the chassis and metal parts to be salvageable at least. Soot cleans off.
Still, I'd be a little wary of that one.

I have never had a better degreaser, it is the most powerful, yet delicate cleaner I have ever used.

Pretty sure that is just your standard wax and grease remover repackaged as a different product. That's what most of those grunge/tar/bug/whatever be-gone products are.You can probably save some money by just buying a quart of wax and grease remover.

Having repaired a few burn out homes in my time, even where there is smoke, there is heat in most cases. It's a really crappy pic, but that looks like more than soot on that car. It looks like it was burned and it's rusted. Granted, it's an aluminum chassis, so it isn't rust, but I wouldn't buy it without seeing it in person.

Maybe, but I have used many products and nothing has worked this well. The great part about it is that it is a concentrate.

I guess I'll stick with WD-40. I used that to clean up all the oil & grease, including the chain, on a vintage 30-year-old 10-speed Norco bike that belonged to my father, that he wanted to sell...I sprayed it on, waited about 5 minutes, then used a brush in the dirtiest spots, and wiped up with rags. It looked like new after I was done. (I re-lubed the chain afterwards, of course.) Not to suggest this product isn't amazing, I'm sure it is...but I always factor in the cost/benefit ratio.

For sure! I am not saying wd 40 is a sub par product, it works very well. This stuff is a great application for getting a massive amount of grime and sticky stuff off a car.

me too. Could never have too much of that stuff around. Worked for everything. Even took the chrome off hpi wheels
