UV LEDs are great for making UV-reactive paint glow. Worked with those and UV cold cathode lights with a few computer case-mods I built, back in the early 2000's (one of my main hobbies back then). I can't comment on their effectiveness at whitening nylon, however.

It's the "B" that makes the difference to whiten the parts iirc...that's the part I'm wondering about. Never seen a UVB LED but id be interested!

Missing the motor and speed control, and the front end has been partially built (and it's not the first step lol) so I will end up building it sooner than later

I recieved this Kyosho Lazer ZX - apart from a boat, i've never owned a Kyosho before, but I couldn't resist this one for a bargain price;

It came fitted with a 40mhz RX, TMS Tornado motor & this Tekin 610 ESC - does anyone know anything about it (specs/motor limit etc) - all the 610s that come up on Google are reversing ESC - but this one looks more like the 400 series?

I also picked up a vintage Nosram ESC & Peak Performance motor from the same seller on IconicRC

The 610 was a version of the 310. I could not find a manual but did find VintageDriver over on Ultimate RC posted pics of his manual in this thread. Close to the bottom of the page.DerbyDan wrote:It came fitted with a 40mhz RX, TMS Tornado motor & this Tekin 610 ESC - does anyone know anything about it (specs/motor limit etc) - all the 610s that come up on Google are reversing ESC - but this one looks more like the 400 series?
