i know an insider at associated. he told me that the new 2wd buggy gonna be called the rc10b25 (25th anniversary). it's gonna be a carbon copy of the original rc10, but it'll be made out of the newer composite materials.
now, if you believe that, i'll tell you another one.
i also heard from my "ae insider" they will be coming out with a kit to convert your old tub chassis to a b44. look for it at your lhs in the next few months.

Really? How much will it cost? Will it make a BJ4 WE too? Do you have pics???
I heard that the "new" B4 will be called 2008-spec but maybe that's just the concept name.

Does anyone know if it has the spazzy enormous rear wing on it as standard? Damn, it makes the svelte B4 look ugly... I forgot to look in the box when i saw one.

I like it to be honest. I was never a friend of the "tiny" original wing on the B4 kits (In terms of the look of the car. Maybe aerodynamic wise the smaller one is "better" - depending on the track.)

Watch modern racers, they use a huge rear wing AND leave the vertical rear section in place as well - notice the box art picture. Speed and power is never a problem in off road but traction is.
No doubt they work better on the track.. but the original wing looked so lovely.. In fact the whole box B4 package is one of the best looking buggies ever imo...

Never happen. The RC10 is an icon but it is not re-issue material. I talked to Cliff about this the last time we spoke. They are focused on the future of racing not the past.
Leave the reissues to someone with nothing better to do. Like Tamiya.

I believe that I just acquired some incredibly rare and cool pieces of RC history, so I am starting this thread to discuss the company and its products.
Very little (if any) information seems to be available on the Internet about Lightz Products. I...

Cool stuff! Ahh yeah, 1997... my dark years for R/C. :)
What kinds of car care products do you like? This 03 'burb I bought hasn't been cleaned in I don't know how long. Decided that I'll replace the carpet and floor mats within the next month or two, so I'm not overly worried about deep cleaning. I'd...

On to new projects, which is having some minor bodywork done, paint touched up, and the whole thing buffed and polished. When this is done I need to restore all the exterior plastic trim and that should be about it.
