Recent collection additions...
I recently made a decent size trade of HO slotcars for TA RC cars and parts and thought I would put some pictures of some of the cars on line that were in the collection...
and more pictures at this link...http://www.toybaron.com/RS12.htm
The previous owner was quite serious about building and racing and had a lot of period parts that I am still going through...I'll post more soon....

the slot in the chassis was nesscesary, although it didn't need to be notched out to the end of the chassis, imo. the four holes arond the 2 rear trans screws are for the 6 gear trans. those are factory. the 2 holes in the rear are for the robinson setup.
here's a pic of the one i have on a chassis.

Cool. I've never seen that adjustable rear end before. Did it have preset settings or was everything done by eyeball? Did you need a tweak station?

Re: Recent collection additions...
you could do both really...robinson racing made them.. i ran them for a while but the robinson plastic was pretty "brittle", i remember breaking a few of them.. easier to use the more forgiving associated plastic and changing them around
