Hi mk-Zero,

You have picked a nice time to visit Perth as it will be Autuum and the temperatures should be quite pleasant at that time. Do bring a light jacket for the evenings as the temperatures can drop. Here are some interesting things about Perth,

1. Perth is the most isolated capital city in the world
2. Perth is the only city in the world where aircraft can land in the central business district
3. Perth has the highest population per capita of self made milionaires
4. The world's older form of living organisms (Stromatolites) can be found in Western Australia
5. Perth was nominated by U.S astronauts as the 'City' of Lights' - as it stood out as the bright spot on earth
6. Some of the largest surfing waves in the world can be found in Western Australia's Margaret River region
7. Perth has the largest inner city park in the world - Kings Park. It's even bigger than New York's Central Park
8. Western Australia has the largest privately owned rail network in the world
9. Perth is the capital city in the world with the most consistent wind
10. The Perth Mint is the oldest operating mint in the world
11. Perth is the capital city of Western Australia which is the largest state in Australia
12. Perth is located very close to the coastline and boast miles and miles of white sandy beaches.

Unfortunately no.3 does not apply to me :(

Cheers
Chris

So to date, I've been in Hamilton and Auckland ZN, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and now Perth, each city for less than 24 hours. Looking forward to a couple days of R&R :P
