Here is my entry into the "vintage/retro" class ('94 and older) my local track is starting. I'm pretty sure I'm one of the few guys that is not running a Re-Re and the only guy using vintage electronics.

Wow! That car looks clean. Does it even have any scratches on it?

Re: World's Car - Vintage Class Racer (Non Re-Re)
Thanks for the compliments! The buggy turned out looking nicer than expected, I can’t wait to race it. And no fear…, it’s getting a mini front bumper and a chassis protector. My plan is to enjoy it and keep it looking “shelfer” quality.

Looks sweet as always Steve!
I think it is much more fun to build shelf quality cars like this that are also runners.

Really like that paint job! Looks SWEET!
Remember it's either a runner or a shelfer. Everything else is just parts.

Re: World's Car - Vintage Class Racer (Non Re-Re)
Thanks again for the compliments! I was able to sneak in some practice laps a few nights ago, other than the springs being a little too soft the car felt pretty good (for the concerned… it was driven with caution and kept rubber side down ).
The buggy on the left was originally owned by Matt Ledger (’93 IFMAR World’s Finalist) and now belongs to a good friend (he’s trying to find out if it was the “actual” car Ledger raced at the Worlds). It’s been in mothballs since ’95 and was recently gone through and setup for track duty, the car is dialed! I’ll get some more pictures next time I see it.

Looking fantastic. I even love the overexposer on the last pic, it makes it look like an old photo.
I have to say I am so jealous of your vintage group. I cannot seem to find anybody in my immediate area to meet up with. I'm hoping sprint changes that.

Re: World's Car - Vintage Class Racer (Non Re-Re)
I’ve been working on a 3D printed mini front bumper to save the nose piece on my Worlds car. If it works out and I can produce a small run of them I’ll post it in the BST section.

Those bumpers are nice, but how strong do you think they will be?
