XX question for Losi Guru's

Post by Vintagemishal »

I have a bunch of Losi parts and want to build up a XX. Question is: I have 2 chassis, one graphite and the other a standard. The front bulkhead is supposed to be held on by hinge pins. Both of my chassis are missing the lower hinge pin mount. It looks intentionally ground off. Is this just broken, or would there be any reason to remove this? Is this some kind of upgrade, or a way to mount some other manufacturers suspension, or are my chassis' junk? I do not know Losi at all. Also, the standard chassis has 4 holes under the bell cranks, and the graphite has none?

Thanks for the help and here are the pics:

It's not a modification I have ever seen it looks like someone fitted a home made front end for some reason also those steering parts don't look like Losi parts.

looks like someone re-engineered the front end on those 2. . Well ur kinda SOL or using the stock stuff. If you want to pay shipping on a runner chassis Im sure I have 1 or 5 laying around here somewhere.

Thanks guys. I am not really a Losi guy, so maybe I will just get rid of the parts I have instead of trying to put these together?

I also have a standard XX chassis and some odds and ends laying around if you're interested. They're going on eBay eventually otherwise.

Looks like someone didn't have any more bulkheads and made a custom front end.
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.
