Took me a while to make out the 74 on that black and green truck. Great job making the red look very realistic. Is that for you or someone else? I'm just wondering if there will be some specific theme with the decals. Interesting design. 8)

Thanks! This was for my buddy. I basically mashed up some zero skateboards decks. He's got it stickered up now. I'll try to get a pic.

Here's the start of our small fleet of bombers together for the backyard oval. I was going for a scale look, but also make the paint seem like they were varied enough to appear to be from separate race teams (like the 1:1's).

I have to say, I thoroughly don't understand how you can do that with paint.....the multiple colours and crazy technical lines.

How the hell do you mask like that?

The mask is a liquid that sprayed on, then cut with an x-acto after it's dried (multiple coats). Every mask line is cut prior to any paint being applied. The paint is applied on the inside, from dark to light so that the light colors are not dimmed by the darker ones. I think the hardest part to imagine is cutting the entire mask for all colors at one time. Here's some links I posted about where I learned it: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=30506&start=15#p381730
