Hi I'm new to this forum and I was just wondering if anybody can tell me anything about this. Is it pretty rare? I tried looking it up online and couldn't find anything about it. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it, thanks.

I feel your here for the wrong reasons. In searching I see you were just on rc tech asking the same questions. If you goal is to find out worth you want to give ebay a shot. If your here to find about the car, it's history, share tips and tricks you've learned and ask for setup tips then your in the right place

Sorry I apologies, All I really want to know is if it's a rare car and I want to know more about it. I realize this forum isn't to be used as an appraisal site. And yes I had visited rctech and asked about it but the reason I asked about it's worth is to find out if I had over paid for it. So I'll edit the post, because I just want to know more about the car itself. Again I'm sorry.

This is the sport version of the Ultima RB, Kyoshos racing buggy of the time. It was released in 2001 or so. It is similar in design to the RC10 B3. The final variant was the Ultima RB Type-R EVO. All the goodies were left off and it was equipped with entry level stuff like plastic shocks, links and a gear diff and a 540 CE motor.

Just a warning, as I discovered some time ago (I need to finish that project... ), you can't easily upgrade a Racing Sports into a Type-R, unless you feel like replacing the whole chassis and gearbox. However, using the Type-R suspension parts on the Racing Sports is possible.
