Janaya's RC10T box art build

Post by janaya »

So I decided to rebuild my 10T runner with its original parts along with new parts to retire and shelf it now that I'm done with my T2 runner. With the exception of the main chassis tub and the stealth transmission case everything else is new. Here are a few shots of it as it sits now. I still need to remove some of the modern electrics but she's pretty clean now.

Here is a picture of the body. I'm not very good at painting so this one was painted by Andy Debrino of Debrino Designs. He's been doing my race bodies for me for some time now. He also does some of the paint work for some factory drivers like AE's Cavalieri.

Very pretty truck! Get an RPM front bumper it will save your front end from damage.

That's awesome. I just pulled the trigger on a minty 10T (paid way too much but it was so perfect in the pics). It's going to be a shelf queen too, although the dark side of me wants to run that sucka!

This was a runner I just went and built it for that purpose with newer parts that are still available including some re-read parts. I just couldn't bare running it with the original parts.

This is how it sits without all the decals yet. With narrow fronts thanks to mikea96

Found the rest of the decals so it should be 100% by the end of the weekend minus the electrics which I hope to have in it by next weekend.

Here she is with the body all done. I decided to go with the #4 to mimic the box art truck on the front side panel instead of the #10 on the main image. From the best I could tell I was able to find all the right sized decals. Now I just need to rewire the ESC and wait for my motor to arrive. Still can't decide if I should install my Novak T4 or Novak 410-m5. What do you all think.

Love that paint scheme too. My first truck ever was a RC10T with the all black arms and transmission. I tried to do that paint job but it didn't come out so well~

That is a good looking truck! I love the skinny front wheels on it too. You did a great job on it! Sorry, Not sure which ESC is better though...
