Traded for a T3 a while back and just now got around to running it. My main problem is that the wheels don't clear the rod ends, front or back. They appear to be the stock rims like you'd see at
You probably have the correct wheels - I believe all Associated truck wheels are interchangeable, going all the way back to the 10T on through the T4.
There is normally a very tight tolerance between the rim and rod end on a T3,
a couple of my T3's show minor wear on the rim and/or rod end, yours seems just a little worse.
Is it possible that you have slop in the wheel bearings/axle/caster block, which is allowing the rim to contact the rod end more than it should???
Perhaps you could try going through the front end to make sure everything is snug?
Perhaps a new set of rims will have less slop in bearing fitment?
you might have duratrax evader rims .. i tried the same thing on mine and had to move the ball stud in on the arm and trim it off to clear the rims .. now i have t3 rims and have no isues
I was looking at that wheel last night and I thought they looked familiar. Here is some pictures of my Evader ST Pro wheels, originals that came with my truck. The color in the plastic looks the same and where the wheel bolts onto the hub. I don't see the whole back side of your wheels to compare.
Got it in trade a year or so ago, gonna make it my winter project I think. Just as soon as I finish my clod, and my red cat hybrid, and my newbright. Or more likely my style I'll work on all of them at once and trash my garage with parts lying everywhere~
my t3 is stock and the evader rims hit the ball cup .. i tryed a bunch of diffrent things trying to get them to fit but ended up moding the front to make them fit
I've had a few sets of Duratrax Evader ST wheels for years, thinking I would some day use them on one of my T3's... After this thread I figured I better check 'em out.
The Duratrax front wheels clearly have a deeper offset than AE fronts!!! Bummer!
The rear wheels seem to be a direct fit?
I'll have to dig out my other sets of Duratrax wheels and put 'em on the chopping block.
Hey guys. I just got the rear wheel conversion kit and installed it, and for some reason it seems like its way too tight with the springs in the dogbones. And not allowing the a-arms to move smoothly. It's almost like its binding somewhere, but it...

I did the same conversion on my son's rc10 classic and I lost the springs. If you pop dogbones you might need a spacer or two in your rear shocks.
I tried to do everything I knew about to fix this car, but nothing helped. I have an rc10b2 that I bought around late April. Since then I have gone through 4 motors in the back of that car. I have heard that the b2/b3 is still able to be competitive...
Ok guys I'm having a few issues with my old rc10. I decided to do a full tear down and clean it up go through the trans and all. Thats just what I did, the trans is good and has fresh lube, the bearings are good, the carriers and all that is good....

Is the chassis graphite? I had glitches on a graphite chassis and moved the rx off the chassis.
The problem I am having is with the rpm ball cups binding up at the shock tower and bellcrank. I installed stock AE ball cups and no binding. This biuld was based on a 'whats old is new and I see rpm cups used . What am I doing wrong? If I redrill...

your bellcranks look like the inner nut/bearing retainer is sitting with the nut side down, which raises the inner ball stud higher as well, try flipping that so the plastic nut is on the top side of the bellcranks- and try the AE low pro ball...
I have just had the brainstorm of 3D printing a radio wheel. I printed a radio wheel for my traxxas transmitter yesterday and thought to myself. What if I printed a wheel that looked just like an original rc10 wheel?!? Well in about 3 hrs I...

I could, but that would take a while to get the letters right. Any other wheel ideas? Kyosho, Traxxas, Losi, Real wheels?
