GUESS ITS TIME TO SHOW U WHAT I GOT!!!
ok well here are all my early edinger cars all in one place. 1 is a no stamp. all have notched pistons, orginal speed controls, 7 rib tires, early rear tires,(couple cars have goodyears) diamond wing buttons (the old milwaukee car has reissue ones the rest are orginal) ,correct 6 gear trans, fiberglass battery straps, (some cars dont) edinger motors, and 1 orginal clear gear cover. the last single pic is my box art attempt and yes u do see 4 orginal spring cups on that car
its also sporting 4 goodyear edinger tires. (i also have one more extra pair of edinger rear spring cups just in case i come across anther early car missing those parts)

At least we know 6 out of the first 5000 made are still out there. Who knows how many more were thrashed and tossed out into the garbage.

Re: GUESS ITS TIME TO SHOW U WHAT I GOT!!!
Very unlikely- it's been floated as low as 250 and as high as 5000. Given where and how they were made in 84', I would surmise 500-1000ish... but there are only 2 perfect and original examples here and another 4-5 original and correct examples I've seen after that...so it's 100% arguable either way
and...they started changing things (like the tires w/o the goodyear and added stamp) very soon in the production. So realistically with the small shop I'd wager on the side of < 500 Goodyear, no-stamp cars released before the first revision car, supposedly revised in a month of beginning production...but that may be hearsay.

My credible source that 5000 kits were first released was from the late Gene Husting. In the March 1985 issue of R/C Racing News, the following was published. The following is screen shots from his DVD Collection Volume 10.
