hi Jk,
how did you go about the inner plate for the triad? can post some pics? I tried to install mine but the inner plate would hit the motor plate. any particular space/crush spacer you installed in yours?
Edited: saw you use a spacer? can you share the exact part number?
TIA.

I am in your neck of the woods (sort of, Ventura). Is there a place that does vintage racing? I am getting my old short-arm RC10 together and am wondering where I can race it against other vintage cars.
Granted, I am still gonna run it at my local track against the modern buggies as well.
I have been doing this way too long and always ran Losi. For some reason, I got bored, sold that collection and have gone down the RC10 wormhole. I built this to run at the local carpet off road track that recently opened. I am running Schumacher...

Hi all,
Just thought I'd post in here and mention that Windy City moved to a new, much bigger facility. The off road track is huge and is now on-road carpet instead of the turf, so clay or foam tires work well. I brought my RC10T there this weekend...

Here is the finished truck. As you can see, some of the scratches were a little too deep even for light sanding and still appear after the paint. I'll try to strip the truck in the spring and see what I can do.
So I have decided to build a Optima Mid racer with a big thanks to Jake for the custom chassis, suspension arms and tranny top shaft. Im just waiting on a belt to get started on this.

Jake (seabass) made the shaft for running the b4 slipper
As much as I love modern buggie after coming back to RC 18 months ago after a 25 year break I still think the old school buggies look best.
Vintage racing is taking off in the UK so I though I'd better get a car sorted and as I've just about always...
