Difference in truck wheels 7847 vs 7464

Post by dldiaz »

I am trying to figure out which wheels will fit the rear of an RC10T3.
I have read elsewhere on this forum that the Associated truck wheels have not changed from the 10T, T2, T3, and T4.
Is that true???

Then, what about GT and GT2 wheels???

Specific question:
What is the difference between #7847 (GT2 wheels) and #7464 (T4 wheels) ???

Thank you!

Hi didiaz,

Tower hobbies have 10t/T2/T3 original style lite front and rear wheels 1 piece,

Rears for 3/16 rear axles,

I have and am still using GT2 wheels,

If you look at the Team Associated wheel chart there is no difference between 7847 and 7464.

Hi didiaz,

No problems, glad to help!

I just noticed Tower hobbies also have for 10T's lite rears for 1/4 axles,

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LX2948&P=9

They still have 3 piece fronts,

Cheers, Dave.

I have a used set of rear 3 piece but they have some curb rash.

I was going to put them on the gold pan I'm rebuilding for my dad.
