Re: VAE's Ten4
I think all you need are the 10T nose tubes. They are longer than the RC10 ones.jwscab wrote:so it ends up in the long wheelbase configuration. are new nose tubes part of the plan?

Re: VAE's Ten4
Should just be able to add new holes to end of buggy tubes. The only downfall with that is having the original short wheelbase holes in plain sight.

Re: VAE's Ten4
I'm just using extensions but the plan was to buy some k&s tubing which is very similar to oem and drill it for lwb

Not that I know of, but you might be able to find some on ebay. Maybe we can convince JConcepts to extend the ones they made for the RC10 re releases lol.

Re: VAE's Ten4
I'll have to mock up the car with some old yokomo wheels to see what looks good. I have a set of pink ones and it's just way too much pink and not enough contrast. Rod has some orange wheels... at least he used to, and I have lots of white ones.alien3t wrote:mk-zero i just bought the last set from Ultimate. in black.
That would be cool if you were going to make some too.mk-Zero wrote:I'm going to make some i think, and I'll offer them for sale.
Re: VAE's Ten4
If it helps. the way this will run front wheels. colored wheels by DE racing be cool. since b44 front wheels will fit. good range of colors.

Re: VAE's Ten4
I'm away working in the field at the moment, but my wife called me to let me know that my Team Car arrived today. I'm planning on parting out the car between this project and my RC10M build.
The plan is to have all white parts on this pink chassis with blue hardware (where I can) and wheel colour is still undecided.

Re: VAE's Ten4
I forgot to mention that I did stop by the LSH and bought all the AE parts they had for this build on the shelf, the rest I ordered. I wanted to be ready for the 3D parts when they became available.
